A NEW month-long devotional for families
Jesus used everyday things to teach us about His love, like a door, a path, some seeds, or some weeds. He often used the word 'consider' as he began parables. The word consider means to think about…ponder…contemplate what is about to be said. It begs the listener to dig a little deeper.
Garden Parables are all about…considering and are created to be a month-long devotional for families (to be read over and over again). Each of the 30 parables takes a look at a different plant or animal and how it interacts with others and with the Gardener, the one who cares for all who live there.
Along the way, we hope you’ll learn about plants and animals that might show up in your backyard, but we hope even more that you'll learn about God‘s love and care for you. From time to time, when you see a turtle, some poison ivy, or a sparrow flitting across the sky, we hope you’ll stop to ‘consider' and remember how deeply you are loved by God.
So…consider.
